Slap four motors on. And send it.

Cheap Build

  • Frame

    12-inch Arms

    Hollow-body Aluminum

Wires running through arms for safety, cleanliness, and aerodynamics. (Not for ease of repair.)

  • Motor Mounts

    3D printed in-house in 30 minutes

    3g each

Designed in-house by Trey Mason for rigidity and efficiency.

  • Stack Mount

This mount is used to hold the frame at right angles. It eliminates 5 degrees of freedom from the setup, allowing movement only in the Z-axis.

    Designed and printed in-house.

  • Motors

I had 4 of these cheap Eachine motors left over from my first FPV rig, the Wizard 220S.

    2207 2305kv

  • Flight Controller / ESC

The “Mamba F405 MK2”. Cheapest, most reliable, stack on the market. Plus, I could get it in less than 2 weeks.

    4s - 6s battery compatible

I’ll move this to my next quad when I build version 2.0!

7in Duct Build

  • Frame

    Accepts 7in Props

    Hollow-body, 3D-printed PLA

Includes a stator that removes swirl from exiting air, increasing efficiency.

  • Motors

Same motors from the previous build, 2207 2305kv.

Using 6s batteries and lower kV motors will help spin the larger props. The added torque will help with control as well.

  • Flight Controller / ESC

The “Mamba F405 MK2”. Cheapest, most reliable, stack on the market. Plus, I could get it in less than 2 weeks.

    4s - 6s battery compatible

So far, so good. Super robust FC/ESC stack.

  • Propellers

    HQProp DP 7X4X3

    $1 a piece

    Material: PC

    Weight: 9.27g

The sky isn’t the limit, it’s our playground.
